This policy explains how RunBySimple: Surcharge (“the App”) handles information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses the App.
Information we process
The App may process store identification, product and variant information, product tags, cart line information, app configuration, and installation or billing status. We process only the information needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the App.
How information is used
We use information to calculate and display configured checkout add-ons, maintain merchant settings, provide support, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Shopify and service providers
Shopify processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may use infrastructure and monitoring providers only as needed to operate the App, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security controls.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only while it is needed to provide the App or comply with legal obligations. Following uninstall, App data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period unless retention is legally required. Shopify privacy requests are handled through the required compliance webhooks.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
